We understand having a pet in the hospital can be a stressful situation. Our goal is to treat your pet with the best care possible and also keep you informed of their progress and recovery. In addition to in-person consultations with doctors and technicians, in-hospital visits, and phone updates, we also provide regular, automated email updates for each patient in the hospital to give you the most current information available in an easily accessible format. These emails detail the medical notes from each doctor caring for your pet in an easy to follow, chronological format. Notes regarding eating and drinking, medications, treatments and progress will all be available for you to follow along. A glossary is available to help interpret any “doctor speak,” and if you ever have questions regarding the records, our staff is available 24/7 to provide assistance.
Since the system is automated, you don’t need to do anything other than provide us with your email address at check-in. After you receive the check-in email, updates will be delivered to you every morning and evening your pet is in the hospital. Upon discharge, you’ll receive a final email with the complete medical record and discharge instructions.
The Hope Center is committed to keeping our referring veterinary community informed of the progress of their patients while at our hospital.In addition to the same email updates that clients receive, primary care veterinarians are also given accounts to log into our records system to view lab and test results as well as a chronological list of each treatment performed.
