About Us

An established leader in cardiac care, CVCA is comprised of a team of board certified veterinary cardiologists, cardiology residents, technicians and assistants who work together with you and your family veterinarian to achieve the highest level of care for your pet.

CVCA is the world’s largest veterinary cardiology service. As such, our responsibility is to provide the most advanced cardiac care available to the community. Our vast experience, highly specialized training and collaborative efforts provide state-of-the-art cardiac diagnostics, medical therapy and interventional treatments for a wide variety of cardiac disease.

Our board certified cardiologists have completed three to five years of post doctoral training after graduation from veterinary school including a residency in Cardiology and two years of extensive examination. The doctors of CVCA are Diplomates of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine within the College of Cardiology. (www.acvim.org) Our commitment to education extends into our own cardiology residency program within CVCA. We value this high level of training and specialization as well as our individual talents, strengths and diversity. Our goal is to advance the understanding and treatment of the disease processes that affect veterinary cardiac patients, ultimately improving the quality and length of their lives. Our commitment comes from the passion that we all share for preserving the human-animal bond.

CVCA serves as an extension of your primary care veterinarian and offers your pet optimal care through regular communication with you and with your family veterinarian. CVCA doctors are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for telephone consultations. We welcome your questions and progress reports after the visit.

Please bring any medical records, current medication, blood test results, ecg or X-rays that have recently been performed on your pet. This prevents unnecessary repetition of previously performed tests.

CVCA understands how important your pet is to your family. We appreciate the opportunity to work with your veterinarian to provide you, and your pet with the optimum care.
