Shareholders

In 1977, a group of veterinarians in Northern Virginia joined together to create the first after-hours emergency veterinary clinic in the area. The clinic steadily grew and more and more veterinarians became shareholders in the clinic, helping to shape its continued success. By moving to a 24-hour facility and adding specialists, the small overnight clinic has become The Hope Center for Advanced Veterinary Medicine.

The Center is now overseen by more than 70 area veterinarians and continues to have a close relationship with their hospitals.
