As a conscientious pet owner, you rely on your primary care veterinarian's skill and experience to keep your pet healthy and happy by providing routine examinations and immunizations, advice on nutrition, and prompt, expert treatment when illness or accident occurs.

But pet emergencies, like human ones, can happen outside regular office hours. Your pet's injuries and illnesses may require immediate attention. Working as a team, The Hope Center's staff and your primary care veterinarian ensure that your pet's medical needs are met 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In the middle of the night, on weekends, or on holidays, we offer the outstanding emergency care your pet deserves and your veterinarian recommends.

A leader in veterinary emergency medicine for more than 30 years, Hope is the first choice of more than 60 Northern Virginia area veterinarians for emergency-care referrals. They rely on the training and experience of our staff and fully state-of-the-art facility to meet the needs of their patients.

Within our building are also several other veterinary specialty practices including the Veterinary Surgical Center, Chesapeake Veterinary Cardiology Associates, and board-certified internal medicine specialists. Combined with the emergency and critical care experience of the 24-hour emergency department, these affiliates form a complete care group that can provide your pet with virtually all the medical expertise and procedures available anywhere.
